How to stay calm on Results Day Eve.

So it’s 6 o’clock you’ve been trying not to think about the impending doom of tomorrow but you can’t escape it any longer. Whether you’re picking up your AS or A Level results tomorrow – keep reading to discover my three step guide to staying calm on Results Day Eve.

Step one to staying calm on ‘Results Day Eve’ is to analyse your options. What is the worst case scenario if your results are worse than expected tomorrow? Try and think of a true depiction of what would happen tomorrow if your results were worse than expected. If you prepare yourself for the worst then it can only get better.

Step two is easier than the first. I recommend orgainising to do something with your friends after collecting your results – whether thats on the night of the 18th or at the weekend. You need something good to look forward to. I’ll be celebrating/drowning my sorrows with my friends by going out for a meal on the Friday.

Step three (you’re doing so well). All you need to do now is take your mind off results tonight. ¬†You could go out, watch a film, cosy up with a blanket and some youtube videos- whatever you think will help you to not think about results day. Seeing as I’m currently ill anyway, I’ll probably be in bed watching Harry Potter or some other film I will have no doubt of watched 900 times before.
